Magnetic therapy should not be applied for pregnant animals, during treatment of open wounds, keloid and tumors. All magnetic products should be avoided or dealt with extreme care by pregnant women and people with pacemakers or other electromedical devices. The products should not be stored close to any magnetic data storage devices.
In case of any doubts regarding application of the magnetic therapy we strongly recommend consulting a veterinarian.
After what time do the magnetic products lose their properties? Do they “demagnetize”? When should the magnets be replaced?
It is assumed that the total deterioration of the magnetic properties would take ca. 100 years. When used in a recommended fashion the magnets retain their properties over extremely long period of time. Magnetisation is a permanent effect and natural deterioration of strength does not impact the therapeutic properties.
The magnetic devices can be effectively used as long as they are not permanently damaged (e.g. bent or cracked).
The devices can lose their magnetic properties only when subjected to an extremely strong antimagnetic field or at temperatures exceeding 80°C.
